About the work
Verena Freyschmidt's artistic work moves in the areas of drawing, painting and wall installations. Her materials are mainly paper, pen and scissors. She takes lines, structures and formations from what she has seen and remembered and places them in new contexts. Large-format paper cuts are created, which are free artistic creations as well as impressions of nature.
