Colorful forest spirits in animal form get up to mischief, folded paper landscapes blossom and do-it-yourself postcard sets come to life. Take out your cell phone and enter the virtual paper world of Julie Stephen Chheng.
On the first weekend in April, the Paris-based designer and illustrator will be presenting her wonderful pop-up books and talking about her journey from illustration to developing her own apps that combine paper and augmented reality.
How did this idea come about and how can the haptic, sensual dimension of paper be transferred to virtual space?
We will find out.
Be part of it!
